6 months old

Hendrix turned 6 months old on Monday! Crazy! He is such a big boy now, I love watching him grow and learn so quickly. It seriously amazes me how incredibly fast he grows out of clothes though. No body ever tells you this, you just simply discover it on your own one day when you go to put a pair of pants on him (that you bought 2 weeks ago) and they don't button around the waist. It gets a little bit old and expensive, having to buy new clothes every week.
Hendrix is the sweetest little thing and such a happy boy. I love this stage right now because he's not quite mobile yet but laughs, smiles and plays with us. He thinks he's such a big boy now that I put him in high chairs and in the grocery cart. He gets this huge smile on his face and kicks his legs as if to get my attention and say "Hey Mom! Look how big I am."
One of my FAVORITE things about Hendrix is his HUGE smile. He smiles at anyone and everyone which then leads to my favorite comment "He is such a happy baby!" It's true. We love him to pieces and sometimes contemplate waking him up at night because we miss playing with him (that idea only lasts for a second though).
At 6 months old Hendrix is:

*Sitting up all by himself.

*Rolling over. (front to back, back to front)

*Sleeping from 8pm- 7am (I thought the day would NEVER come)

*Not eating in the middle of the night anymore

*Eating solids twice a day. (He likes pears, applesauce, bananas, sweet potatos, carrots and squash)

*Wears 9 month clothes and a few 12 month stuff.

*Picks up his binki and puts it in his mouth.

*Shoves his thumb in the binki hole and chews on it.

*Wears size 3 diapers.

*Kicks his legs and throws his arms up in the air when he gets excited.

*Laughs when we tickle him, kiss him and play peek-a-boo.

*Starting to gets lot's of hair. (Well, we think it's a lot)

*Still snuggles with us.

*Naps 3 times a day.

*Loves car rides.

*Still smiles at everyone and even gets a little shy sometimes.
